Oh look, an actual update on this blog! It's been 2 years since I updated it, which is shameful, really. In my defense, it's been a very busy and eventful 2 years, but still...not cool. I shouldn't be keeping all this fabulous family history to myself!
So while I was working a bit on the genealogy (okay, okay, procrastinating packing my apartment), I realized it had been far too long since I'd tried to share some of these fun stories I've been uncovering. With that in mind, I've been organizing my research by date, so I thought I would try to start a series of "this week in family history" type posts. That's right, I said a series of them...because I just know I'm going to need a distraction to keep me sane during the long periods of waiting that are inherent in the medical school admissions process.
I can't promise that there'll be an update every week, but I will certainly try. Look for my first post to be up tomorrow morning...that's right, it'll be Throw-Back Thursday, genealogy style!
